Our Story

We started Tactical Mosquito Control in 2016 with a simple goal: make Texas backyards comfortable again. As a family- and veteran-owned small business, we focus on reliability, clear communication, and practical mosquito-control plans built around each property.

Tyson Robertson

Owner/President

I began my pest-control career in 1990 after four years of service in the U.S. Navy. My work has taken me around the world and given me decades of experience developing practical mosquito-control programs. During a five-year assignment in Iraq, I served as a vector-control supervisor and Department of Defense civilian.

Before founding Tactical Mosquito Control, I served for five years as general manager of Texas Mosquito Control in Dallas. In 2012, the Texas Pest Control Association named me Technician of the Year.

I was born and raised in Texas and am proud to serve this community. My high-school sweetheart and I raised three sons, two of whom have served in the U.S. Coast Guard. I remain active in our local church and support community charities and organizations. My goal is simple: provide knowledgeable, dependable service to every customer.

Ryan Robertson

General Manager

I completed seven years of service in the U.S. Coast Guard in early 2016. Search-and-rescue work taught me to stay calm in high-stress situations, build a plan, and execute it carefully. I also worked in procurement, coordinating supplies for stations across nearly 30 states.

I earned an MBA in Marketing from Dallas Baptist University in 2020. I use my background in technology and operations to keep our team organized, informed, and responsive. As general manager, I focus on quality service, continuing education, clear communication, and diligent follow-through.

My wife and I have four children. After more than a decade in mosquito control, my priority remains helping clients achieve meaningful, measurable reductions in mosquito activity.
