Mosquito Trapping and Abatement in DFW

When mosquitoes keep coming back no matter how often you spray, the problem is usually a breeding source nearby. Abatement attacks mosquitoes where they're made — cutting the population at the source instead of just chasing the adults.

Family-Owned Veteran-Owned Since 2016

Control Mosquitoes at the Source

Mosquitoes lay their eggs in standing water, and it takes surprisingly little — a clogged gutter, a low spot that holds rain, a creek eddy, or a neglected pond can produce hundreds of new mosquitoes. Abatement is used when mosquito pressure is persistent or originates from nearby breeding areas. By reducing those sources and targeting egg-laying females, we lower the number of mosquitoes your yard has to deal with in the first place.

Abatement can be used on its own or combined with a misting system or yard treatments for a more complete plan.

Mosquito trapping and abatement at the breeding source

How Abatement Works

It starts with an inspection. We walk the property to find where mosquitoes are actually breeding, then build the treatment around what we find — because the fix for a creek-fed lot is different from the fix for a yard with poor drainage.

Best For

  • Creek-adjacent or wooded properties
  • Large yards or acreage
  • Chronic mosquito problems with an obvious source
  • Properties where spraying alone hasn't been enough

What to Expect

  • A property inspection to locate breeding sources
  • A treatment plan matched to your lot and water features
  • Larvicide, trapping, and source control as needed
  • A free estimate before any work begins

Abatement Questions

Can you fix mosquitoes coming from a creek or the neighbor's yard?

We can't treat property we don't have access to, but abatement is built for exactly this situation. We focus on intercepting egg-laying females and treating the breeding sources within your property line to blunt the pressure coming from next door.

Why target breeding sites instead of just spraying?

Spraying kills the adults that are out right now; abatement reduces how many are produced in the first place. Standing water is the root cause — learn more about what attracts mosquitoes and the diseases they can carry.

Do I still need a yard treatment or misting system?

Often the best results come from combining approaches — abatement to cut the source, plus yard treatment or a misting system to protect the areas you use. We'll recommend the right mix for your property.
